My mother used to work in the red-light area. Three years back, she came out of the trade, but due to her debts, we continued to live in the red-light area.
My mother works in a small factory that makes cloth bags, and my father also works for a private company as a helper. Due to COVID-19 and poor financial condition, my parents couldn’t pay school fees and boarding fees. Therefore, I was forced to leave school and move back home.
My mother approached the field staff of Sahaara for admission to their boy's home where I could be taken care of and get an education since I was at high risk because we live in a dangerous area. I got admission into the boy's home as well as in a local school. I am very happy and excited about my future.
