My Story

My mother works in a red-light district and has no communication with my father and is unable to properly care for me. For a few years, I had been living with my maternal grandmother.  Due to COVID 19, my grandmother was unable to care for me, therefore my mother brought me to the red-light area with her.

My mother then approached a Sahaara field worker about placing me in their boy's home because the red-light district is not a safe place for me to live. I was accepted into both the boy's home and a local English medium school. I had never attended school before. I am very happy living here. I have a constant smile on his face.
