Marthama was widowed in 1993. Her husband was good man who worked daily-wage jobs to try and support his family. After the death of her husband, Marthama found work going from village to village selling vegetables. Through her hard work, she was able to support herself and her three children. Now, Marthama is unable to work because she suffers from muscle weakness and a problem with her ear. Her two, grown sons still live with her and rely upon her for their care. One suffers from brain damage due to malaria and the other is handicapped and cannot walk. Due to their physical ailments, this family often struggles to have all of their needs met. Your sponsorship will ensure tht Marthama receives adequate food and the care she and her sons desperately need.
