Khushi's and her mother are from the red light district. They lived in a rehabilitation home until her father forced them back into the streets. Her mother is still in the trade, but Khushi has thankfully since been placed in our Children's safe home. Today she is encouraged and feels part of a safe family.
I'm so glad you came here to learn more about India Partners! When I first heard the difficult and true stories of children born in the brothels, I cried and cried. I remember reaching out to a friend and asking for prayer because my heart was breaking. Then God showed me that He gave me a heart of empathy so I could help.
WE can help!! Your gift will help fund and maintain safe houses that rescue children born into sex slavery. By the grace of God, they can live in a home with safety, a Christ-centered education, therapy, hope, dignity, and a future.
Please join me in supporting India Partners.
In Christ, there is hope.
Today, there are at least 5 million children of sex workers in India. These children grow up surrounded by brothels, drugs, and prostitution because their mothers often work or live in these areas. The children are often left alone during the day while their mothers are sleeping. At night, some are drugged and put under the bed while their mothers work the sex trade. Children left to live in this environment are at extremely high risk of being abused or used in the trade themselves.
You can rescue a child from the red-light districts and relocate them to a safe home in a nice neighborhood, well outside the red-light areas. They will receive nutritious meals, clothing, medical care, counseling, full-time schooling, and experience the love of Jesus. They will have house parents, a private tutor, and will live in a caring home where they can thrive. If their mother is still living, they are granted supervised visits. You can save children from being trapped in the brothels, where they experience abuse, drug addiction, and trauma.
You are providing a child hope and healing in a caring and supportive environment. Getting them out of the red-light districts prevents them from working in the sex trade. It will provide them with the resources to have successful futures and positively contribute to their community.
