Suneetha’s New Wheels
“I never thought I’d see this day,” Suneetha whispered to herself, a smile spreading across her face.
Suneetha’s heart raced with anticipation as she steered her motorized tricycle towards the church. The melodic sounds of music filled the air, reaching her ears like a long-lost friend. For the first time in what felt like an eternity, she was about to attend church.
Suneetha’s life has been anything but easy. Struck by polio in childhood, her legs have never known the freedom of walking. She used to rely on a manual tricycle to move around, but as the years went by, it became unusable.
Life after polio left Suneetha spending most of her life crawling on the ground, dragging her body from place to place. Her parents had always been there to help, but as they aged, their ability to support her waned. The broken tricycle became a symbol of her isolation, a constant reminder of her limitations.
But today was different. Today, Suneetha had wings. Thanks to the generosity of kind-hearted donors, she now possessed a motorized tricycle that was nothing short of a miracle. Tears welled up in her eyes as she approached the church, the joy of independence washing over her like a warm summer breeze.
“I never thought I’d see this day,” Suneetha whispered to herself, a smile spreading across her face. The sensation of God’s presence was overwhelming as she prepared to gather with other believers once more.
Sitting at the entrance of the church, she paused to offer a silent prayer of thanks for the generous donors who gave her this wonderful gift in her time of need.
“Thank you,” she thought, her eyes looking heavenward. “Thank you for giving me back my life.”
This gift of transportation transformed her daily existence, enabling her to find a job, run errands, and most importantly, reclaim her place in the community and church.
