It is evident that the number of people living in extreme poverty has surged, and the resources needed to assist them continues to escalate.

There are many living in one-roomed huts, drinking diseased water, with no access to medical care, surviving in dangerous places where generations of families have never even had the chance to get an education. Their dreams and hope for a better life have been snuffed out by their cruel reality.

To be honest, helping people out of poverty is multi-faceted, complicated, and often messy, with no easy solutions. But that won’t stop us from continuing the call to shine light into dark places.
