Varsha grew up with her mother in extreme poverty, her father had left them when she was just an infant. Her mother gave her in marriage at the tender age of 12 in an effort to give her a better life. Varsha had a daughter at 15, her husband left them when she was only 18 years old. The horrible cycle of poverty had her firmly trapped…
Having almost no education but a strong desire for success Varsha enrolled in our tailoring training school for women. Determined to succeed, Varsha excelled in the tailoring course and was soon named the “Star Performer” of her class. This recognition inspired her to work even harder towards her goals. Varsha learned to tailor bags, which landed her a job at a multinational manufacturer, stitching backpacks. With the income from her job, Varsha can now provide for herself, her child, and her mother. Her newfound employment has brought financial stability to her family and hope for a brighter future.
