• One-third of India's children cannot attend elementary school, usually because there is no local school to attend
Teach Them to Read
How can they learn if they cannot read or write? Help poor villagers become more self-sufficient through literacy.

Dalit Island Kindergarten
Friends like you helped build a kindergarten on a poor river island. Now
keep it open and provide school furniture for the 78 little islanders.

Breaking the Chains

Sleeping on the floor is hard, even for children in an Indian orphanage. You
can give them bunk beds to sleep on with mattresses, sheets, pillows, and
blankets.

Tsunami Homes
Many coastal villagers are still homeless from the devastating tsunami of 2004. You can provide a family with a safe, secure 200 sq. ft home.
